Booking Rules

  • Court reservations can only be made online. 
  • Court time is booked in 1 hour time slots for single play and 2 hours for doubles. Bookings are made on the hour (e.g. 7:00).
  • Booking time slots are shown 5 days out from current day/hour as indicated by red horizontal line on calendar (e.g. if the current date/time is Tuesday 16 March 2022 4:00PM, member will be able to view 5 days up until Sunday 21 March 2022 4:00PM)
  • Members are permitted a maximum of 4 future bookings in the upcoming 5 calendar days. This includes bookings made by other members.
  • To book singles play, member must add a second player from the drop-down list; to book doubles play, member must add 3 additional players (court cannot be reserved with only one name). 
  • Players can book court time for themselves and other members playing with them.
  • Family memberships include an option to allow children to book courts. It is the adult’s responsibility to monitor their children’s bookings.
  • Back to back bookings are not permitted (one time slot of 1 hour is required between 2 bookings).
  • Players on the court who not match those entered online could be reported to the Club executive and may lose their booking privileges.
  • Bookings may be modified up until scheduled playing time.
  • If a court is booked and players do not show up within the first 15 minutes, the court becomes available for play for that time slot (e.g. court is booked online 10:00-11:00, players do not show up by 10:15, court becomes available 10:15-11:00). A member that  repeatedly books a time slot and does not show up to play may lose their booking privileges.
  • Juniors that are less than 10 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian/instructor while on the courts.
  • Guests are permitted if playing with a member who must enter their names in the booking system.  Court fees must be paid prior to booking by e-transfering funds to: glenstennisclub@gmail.com.
  • Club sanctioned activities (e.g. Club championships) take precedence over individual court bookings.
